The perfect solution with Telematix components

With a wide range of components specifically developed or selected by us we are able to implement a communication solution for you that meets your requirements without having to compromise.

Telematix solution components

Call point

Call points that are wire-connected by means of fibre-optic cables, Ethernet or two-wire copper cables and that are installed in different enclosures (pillars, flush-mounted, etc.).

Alarm box

Tunnel call points that are integrated into an alarm box that also contains several fire extinguishers. The doors of the box and the fire extinguishers are monitored by means of contacts. When a fire extinguisher is removed, a message is sent to the NIS-R system.

Call point + PA

Call points that also contain an audio amplifier and an audio output for the PA system.

Call point wireless

GSM call points that can communicate with the NIS-R system, or optionally also directly with predefined call destinations, via the existing GSM network of a provider.

SBG dispatcher

Graphical operator station, which can be equipped with a touchscreen, handset, gooseneck microphone and a headset.

ComNode

Central switching and control unit of the NIS-R system, which can be implemented in different topologies (single node, multi-node, warm standby, hot standby).

Recorder

Digital voice recorder that is either integrated into the ComNode or installed separately and that records and logs all voice communication in the NIS-R.

Maintenance

Central web applications for configuring and monitoring the NIS-R system, including its peripheral devices and gateways. It is operated via a standard web browser.

IP phone

Commercial IP phones that communicate via VoIP/ SIP and that are registered as subscribers within the system.

PA controller & PA amplifier

The public address controllers and amplifiers by Telematix are fully IP-based and integrated seamlessly into the NIS-R system.

GSM gateway

The GSM gateway facilitates direct communication with Telematix wireless GSM call points.

Radio gateway

Using the radio gateway, the NIS-R system can be connected to an analogue or digital radio network directly via the air interface.

Broadcast gateway

Media gateway to a tunnel radio system, which can also transmit internally stored voice announcements to the tunnel radio system.

GSM-R gateway

The GSM-R gateway establishes a central connection with the GSM-R mobile phone network via trunk and data interfaces.

Network gateway

The network GW establishes the connection to the fixed public telephone network (ISDN PRI, analogue FXO or SIP trunk).

Announcement gateway

Media gateway for connecting existing local PA systems.

PASys PA server

Central application server and scheduler for the rule-based, time-controlled generation and output of automatic announcements.

Web-client

Web clients that are used to configure, monitor and operate the NIS-R and the PASys system. In addition, some of the supplementary functions can be operated via dedicated web clients (e.g. COMLog recorder, statistic dashboard)

Statistic services

Central server applications that collect, statistically process and graphically visualize a wide variety of event data.

Peripheral systems / networks

With our gateways and numerous interfaces, the NIS-R and the PASYS system can be connected to a wide range of peripheral systems and communication networks:

Control center

Control system with control centre work stations (emergency call centre, operations centre)

Tunnel radio

Tunnel radio system for transmitting VHF, DAB+ and radio programmes in road and railway tunnels.

PSTN

The public switched telephone network.

GSM-R

GSM-based mobile radio network of rail operators.

GSM

Public GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) mobile phone network

Control system

Higher-level control system (network management system) that is used to monitor the NIS-R system via defined interfaces.

Dispo system

Planning system that provides the PASYS system with up-to-date target data.

Train control system

Train control system that provides the PASYS system with information on train movement.

Timetable system

Timetable system that provides the PASYS system with planning data on train departures and arrivals.

Monitors

Large-format screens and general displays that show up-to-date information on train departures.

Displays

Platform displays that show up-to-date information on train departures on a specific platform.

Radios

Analogue or digital radio equipment (E&M analogue radio, MPT1327 trunked radio, TETRA digital radio)
